Conkie & Company is a boutique law firm based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Founded in 1993, we take challenging and rewarding cases in civil litigation, including a broad range of commercial, construction, entertainment and copyright cases, with a special interest, also, in employment and human rights issues.

We work with a consortium of independent lawyers and research specialists to handle some of our litigation files. Associates are contracted on an as-needed basis, while Conkie & Company maintains full authority as lead counsel, directing the course of all matters relating to the file.

We recognize that legal problems can be a significant burden to our clients. Their reputation, businesses or property may be at stake, they may be unfamiliar with the legal process, or they may be unfairly threatened or accused.

Conkie & Company sees its chief role in such situations as advocacy, and acting as a knowledgeable and effective voice on behalf of our clients in the courtroom and in the boardroom. We place a high value on providing compassionate stewardship for our clients throughout the legal process. We strive for fair and equitable resolutions through clear dialogue with other parties. We favour mediated solutions rather than an adversarial approach, which can be costly. Our chief goal is to deliver positive results for our clients through advocacy, accountability and excellence.
